Did you know that the Summit Hill Elementary School PTO is comprised of ALL of our parents?! That’s right—if you’re a Summit Hill parent, YOU are our PTO!  And without YOU there would be no PTO...or anything that PTO sponsors, including Fall Carnival, Field Trips, Art Edventures, Bingo and Baskets Night, and MANY more!

So let’s get right to it – Our biggest fundraiser (the Support Husky Excellence Campaign) AND our biggest yearly event (our Fall Carnival) is just around the corner and we need Chairs for both!  If you love planning a good party OR strategizing on fundraising efforts, please talk to your friends and consider signing up to help TOGETHER!  Most of the work for both positions is completed in late Summer/early Fall, so volunteers are needed quickly!

Description of Carnival Chair Positions (2 positions):

*Organizes this popular, annual family event alongside your Co-Chairs. Tasks include choosing a theme; maintaining a budget; securing vendors; marketing the event, and coordinating volunteers.

*Co-Chairs may choose to delegate between themselves specific roles/responsibilities as deemed necessary: Co-Chair Food, Co-Chair Music/Games, etc.

Description of Support Husky Excellence Chair Positions (2 positions):

*Creates and rolls out communication plan to ensure SHE families are aware of the MANY activities and programs that the PTO funds, along with how families can donate.

*Plans and organizes the “Donation Station” effort at the August Sneak-a-Peak event.

*Tracks and communicates campaign progress and awards as we close in on our $60K 2019 goal!

Does taking lead on these efforts feel daunting??  Don't worry, you will have the support of entire PTO Board to help you through the process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Also note – there are many smaller volunteer roles that we need help with!  It takes a village and we need you to make ours the best!
